Cambridge Flower Journal is a garden diary written from Cambridgeshire, UK.
I’m a beginner at gardening and love writing this diary as it helps me to reflect on progress and learn more about the plants in our garden.
As you’ll soon notice, roses, verbenas and salvias are firm favourites here so far, and pinks, purples and greens are what I’m drawn to most lately.

Here are posts you may find useful if you’re just starting out gardening:
And I’ve also written about mental health and wellbeing a little here:
- Fumiphobia and gardening
- Changing seasons (on impermanence)
- Mum’s birthday flowers (mindful looking)
Please do say hello in comments, and I hope you find something helpful and uplifting here.
